ISA Hosts Third Annual MUN Conference

On 8 and 9 December, the ISA Model United Nations (MUN) program held its third annual Conference. Over 200 students from seven different schools took part in the MUNISA conference, addressing pressing political issues involving human rights and national security, collaborating to debate and solve these issues through diplomacy.

The theme of this year’s in-house conference was ‘Peace and Stability: Building Sustainable Solutions.’ Amidst global challenges like armed conflicts and the climate crisis, our delegates explored a wide range of urgent issues affecting our lives today, including abuse of authority, the Syrian Civil War, authoritarianism, and mental health awareness. This was an outstanding experience that educated students about current issues while also challenging them to explore many perspectives and develop answers to them.

The MUN press team has a dedicated website and an Instagram account with updates and photos from the event to ensure that it can be followed by the wider ISA Community.

MUNISA is now an established tradition at ISA, and we look forward to growing the event next year to include other schools. Well done to all of the ISA MUN members for your hard work in organising and participating in the conference!
