Celebrating Student Success

Outstanding Achievement in French Language and Literature

ISA is delighted to share the success of four Grade 9 and 10 students from last year’s French Language and Literature. In March 2020, the students entered a writing competition with the Association des Membres de l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques (AMOPA). All students from this class wrote a short story based on the study of Maupassant’s Tales of the Franco-Prussian War along with their reflection on the unit related to our engagement to defend peace and equal rights. Three of them received a prize “le prix de la Jeune Nouvelle” and one received an award:

  • Norah Vlas – 1st Prize
  • Julie Beaulieu – 2nd Prize
  • Louis Bail – 2nd Prize
  • Bartek Hadjas – Award

At ISA, we believe in developing minds, character and communities, inviting our students to take on new challenges with confidence and creativity. These students pushed their own boundaries and were rewarded for their hard work. Congratulations to Norah, Julie, Louis and Bartek on their excellent achievement!
