Soon-To-Be-Alumni Spotlight: Alex Imes

“I am a more open person because of ISA.”

Meet Alex Imes, ISA Class of 2026 graduate and soon-to-be-alumni after 3 years at ISA. Alex will take a gap year after graduation, doing volunteer work for one year, and pursuing a Social Policy degree in 2027.

What are some of your most memorable moments at ISA?

The London trip in 12th grade, working on the pottery wheel during DP years, and going on the Silver DOE trips in 11th grade.

What advice or insights do you have for our current ISA students?

I would say structure is everything; memory organisation for all exams going into DP.

How did your time at ISA impact your life?

I am a more open person, having received education through literal courses, and the proximity of so many different cultures and nationalities.

How prepared do you feel for this next stage in your life?

A lot of personal growth through my relationships made during my time at ISA, which I think will aid in my adult life.

The ISA Soon-To-Be-Alumni Spotlight series aims to welcome seniors into our alumni community and share their excitement and nostalgia during the transition period into their post-ISA journeys. It’s a new chapter for them and we are here to celebrate their legacy and potential!
