Soon-to-be Alumni Spotlight: Misha Lee
“After spending 10 years here, I now identify ISA as my home, as a community of generous and open-minded people.”
Meet Misha Lee, ISA Class of 2026 graduate and soon-to-be-alumni. Misha was at ISA for eleven years and is taking a gap year after graduation.
What are some of your most memorable moments at ISA?
My first day at ISA, I came in at 8:30 on a Friday and thought I was late. I was very stressed because I was new and did not know anybody. After realising I was an hour early, my dad and I laughed. That day, everybody wanted to sit with me, and I found a community I could call family.
What advice or insights do you have for our current ISA students?
Enjoy your time at ISA whilst you are here. The number of times I said I wanted to graduate and go home, not knowing how fast time goes by, is countless.
How did your time at ISA impact your life?
I am a multinational kid and have moved around multiple times, so it is hard to identify a certain place as home. After spending 10 years here, I now identify ISA as my home, as a community of generous and open-minded people.
The ISA Soon-To-Be-Alumni Spotlight series aims to welcome seniors into our alumni community and share their excitement and nostalgia during the transition period into their post-ISA journeys. It’s a new chapter for them and we are here to celebrate their legacy and potential!
