Having
appointed Wouter F. Goedkoop, '91 as the school's
webmaster and Rob Spies to a new post for Communications
and Public Relations, ISA is looking forward
to strengthening its services to the Alumni community.
Voices aims to keep old friends in touch with
the school and one another and informed about
developments in the world of international
education. The current triple issue is for the spring of
2001, 2002 and 2003.
I am always struck as I work on the Class Notes and correspond
with our Alumni families by the strength of the friendships
they establish and the lifetime commitments their youngsters
make while at ISA, often during short stays and even in the
lower grades.
At ISA we have had to expand the meaning of 'alumni community'
to embrace more than our graduates!
At ISA students discover mathematics, music, art, drama,
dance, science, sports, poetry, critical thinking, self-analysis,
neighborly service and civic commitment at an early age,
in part because of the industrious character of our families
and in part because of the way our professionals work with
kids. Voices provides insight into the life of ISA's exceptionally
purposeful and generously civic-minded community.
Warm
regards,
Don
