Voices 2000 - Creativity, Action & Service at ISA

From the Alumni Coordinator

The ISA Alumni Office seeks to extend the work of education for international understanding by keeping ISA's old friends and families in touch with the school and one another and informed about current issues in international education that may be pertinent to the attainment of a more just and peaceful world.

Thus Mark Waterson discusses here the importance of service in the education of ISA's students today, and attention is devoted to Leo Bretholz's return to ISA as a valued father of the community and author of Leap into Darkness. "You must protest immediately," he told our students, "when someone attacks another for their race or religion, or they will feel justified in their opinion, which may then lead to persecution and violence."

We mourn the loss of two friends who have passed away in their youth, whose families' grief we share.

We value the many messages and letters received from our alumni community around the world and ask your forgiveness for being often far behind in our correspondence.

Yours truly,

Don Morton
Alumni Coordinator

A Welcome from our Alumni Coordinator Don Morton

"All who have been associated with the school in some way until now are the founders of a great work. Having grown from strength to strength, ISA is today one of the leading schools in the world. ISA is a school of which we can all be proud, a school that has made a difference in our lives. Through its alumni, ISA can make a difference in the world."

Let us continue the good work.'
