Welcome to the International School of Amsterdam

The International School of Amsterdam is an independent, non-profit foundation that is overseen by the Board of Governors. The Board is comprised of six to eight elected parent members and up to three appointed non-parent members. The Board’s key responsibility is to ensure the long-term wellbeing of ISA as a whole.

The Board’s main function is short-term and long-term strategic viability.

Specifically, the Board:

- Sets the long-term academic direction of the school on the recommendation of the Director and staff;
- Hires, evaluates, extends or terminates the employment of the Director;
- Ensures the financial health of the school -sets and reviews school policies and regulations; and,
- Sets the annual tuition fees -approves staff remuneration and compensation.

Upper School PAC
The next Upper School PAC meeting is scheduled for February 6th.
European University Fair
The European University Fair will take place in the Theatre Foyer on February 10th.
Lower School PAC
The next Lower School PAC meeting is scheduled for February 13th.
Gobal Village Day
ISA's 21012 Global Village Day is scheduled for February 15th.
Crocus Break
There will be no classes during the Crocus Holiday from February 20th to 24th. Classes will resume for all students on February 27th.
ISA Ski Trip
The Grade 5 to 12 ISA Ski Trip to Austria will take place from February 17th to 25th.
